February 28 marked the beginning of Tirana Inc. Bootcamp, a 3-day event that took place at the Metropolitan Innovation Center.
Representatives from Tirana Inc. Foundation, EU4Innovation and Preneurz.Amsterdam welcomed and applauded the student teams that have applied to be part of this multi-university incubator.
Students had the opportunity to get to know each other through icebreaking, collaborative exercises where they formed new teams and worked on developing a business idea right there and then. This was followed by the presentations of the start-up teams who applied to be part of Tirana Inc.

Day one came to an end with a presentation of the programme and structure of Tirana Inc.
Day 2 started with an introduction on business models and lean start-ups by Tirana Inc. Coach Rogier Senn van Basel, and insightful tips by Tirana Inc. Coach Erik Boer on how to work with mentors as a start-up founder.

One of the highlights of the day was the Mentor Carousel.
Invited mentors held 6-minute-long feedback rounds with each student team and gave them immediate feedback on their ideas. Moreover, Alumna Xhesjana Brahimi, the winner of Tirana Inc’s first Cohort, shared with the participants her entrepreneurial journey as a co-founder of two businesses.

The Bootcamp activities culminated with the teams’ pitches on the last day, where they presented their aspirations for their start-ups to the audience, followed by Q&A sessions with the coaches and various mentors.
We thoroughly enjoyed each Bootcamp day and are thankful to everyone who joined and shared their ideas, their feedback, and their skills.
