On Thursday June 24th, “The Future of Universities” Masterclass was brought to lecturers, researchers, leadership officials of Albanian Universities by UIIN [University Industry Innovation Network] and Crazy Town, with the support of EU for Innovation.
The aim was to share knowledge and (re-)design and co-create a vision for the future of higher education, highlighting its potential roles and functions, specifically related to entrepreneurship education and innovative pedagogies.
The session kick-started with a bit of theory, followed by an insight into the minds of global leaders, and an active discussion by the participants, related to the future of universities in Albania.
The attendees were triggered to think on the skills required to span the boundaries of universities and become a changemaker in their university. Finally, the European Spanning Boundaries Program, that a few selected Albanian university teams will join, was briefly introduced.
During the masterclass, Director of “National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation” Ms. Mirela Muca, announced that now Albania is also a member EUREKA – the world’s biggest public network for international cooperation in Research & Development, and innovation, present in over 45 countries.
