A Technical Roundtable on Financing Innovative Start-ups, co-organized by Albanian Microfinance Association (AMA) & EU for Innovation, was held yesterday at Europehouse’ s premises with a selected group of participants representing Microfinance Institutions in Albania, start-ups of different stages, ISOs as well as other ecosystem actors.
Microfinance institutions in Albania are considering to provide access to finance to start-ups, which may assure a first resource funding to kick-off their business cases, as well as contribute to sustainability and progress in the long run.
Thus, a technical roundtable where start-ups and ecosystem actors were able to share their experience and insights when it comes to funding, and a direct exchange with the AMA representatives, where opportunities and future scenarios of support, tailored to the specific needs of the innovative start-ups segment, were discussed, was considered as beneficial.
