Student Inc. – the first student company emerging from Connect IT

We are very excited to share the creation of Student Inc. – a student-owned and operated company under EU for Innovation’s Connect IT initiative.

Connect IT matches bright young students in the IT fields with companies that choose to innovate their processes. Public and private universities are invited to enroll their students (from year 1 to master’s level) to create teams that address innovation needs of established companies in Albania. To date, there are 80 students enrolled in the programme, across 17 challenges and 12 companies. The programme has graduated 4 teams already as of July 2021– meaning that 4 teams have implemented solutions for their respective companies.

As of July 2021, a student company owned and operated by the students themselves – called Student Inc. – has been registered officially with NIPT No. M11814007E. Just as any other IT consultancy, the students will be able to work, find clients, and bill for their services. What makes this company unique is that upon graduation of a class of students, the company’s ownership is rotated to the new incoming class of student managers.

Student Inc. is funded by the Seneca Sede Challenge Fund 2021 grant, a facility of the Sector Network at GIZ. Under this grant, the company will get financial resources to operate.

Jemi të lumtur të ndajmë me të gjithë Ju lajmin mbi krijimin e Student Inc. – kompanisë së parë në pronësi të studentëve dhe e operuar nën iniciativën e BE për Inovacionin, Connect IT.

Programi Connect IT ndërlidh studentë të shkëlqyer nga fusha e TIK, me kompani që dëshirojnë të digjitalizojnë proceset e tyre. Universitetet publike dhe private janë ftuar të krijojnë skuadra me studentë (nga viti i parë deri në nivelin master) për të adresuar nevojat për zgjidhje inovative të kompanive shqiptare. Deri më tani, 80 studentë janë regjistruar në programin Connect IT, për të gjetur zgjidhjen e 17 sfidave nga 12 kompani. 4 ekipe studentore janë diplomuar tashmë që nga korriku 2021 – që do të thotë se 4 ekipe kanë zbatuar zgjidhje për kompanitë e tyre përkatëse.

Nga korriku 2021, një kompani studentore në pronësi dhe e operuar nga vetë studentët – e emërtuar Student Inc. – është regjistruar zyrtarisht në pranë QKB me NIPT M11814007E. Ashtu si çdo kompani tjetër konsulence IT, studentët do të jenë në gjendje të punojnë për klientë dhe të faturojnë për shërbimet e tyre. Ajo që e bën unike këtë kompani është se pas diplomimit të studentëve, pronësia e ndërmarrjes do i kalojë një grupi të ri menaxherësh studentë.

Themelimi i Student Inc. është mundësuar nga granti Seneca Sede Challenge Fund 2021, një strukturë e Sector Network GIZ. Nëpërmjet këtij granti, kompania do të marrë burime financiare për të operuar në fillimet e saj.
