Start-Up in Residence
Bringing start-up teams from all over the world to join local start-ups and work together in Albania.

The Start-up in Residence Program is bringing start-up teams from all over the world to Albania to work from here for a few weeks. They will be joining local start-ups working from one of the local Coworking Spaces.
While working on their own products our Start-ups in Residence will be supporting the local start-up ecosystem by sharing their experience during office hours, One on One mentoring sessions, workshops and other activities.
We are constantly looking for start-up teams to join us here in Tirana for a few weeks, so if you are a team of up to three founders looking to spend some time in an up and coming ecosystem, please feel free to contact us. We are especially looking for founding teams who already have experience with building up, running and successfully scaling up a start-up.

Fabio Glaser
In Tirana: 04.03. - 23.03.2020
Fabio has over 25 years of IT leadership experience with a consistent track record of developing and executing IT strategies in alignment with corporate objectives. He has managed organisations of up to 400 people and annual budgets over $500 million. Previously he has been Senior IT Manager for Telecom companies in Brazil and Senior Manager at Accenture and Ernst & Young. Together with Regina Glaser, he has founded Valkokettu.

Regina Glaser
In Tirana: 04.03. - 23.03.2020
Regina has over 20 years of IT experience in system design, data modelling, and project management in several different industries ranging from retail to international trading and infrastructure. Expert in Data Management, System Development and Process Management. Her experience includes several IT projects for consulting companies. Regina and Fabio are founders of Valkokettu.

Malte Hendricks
In Tirana: 17.03. - 02.04.2020
Malte worked for 2 years as a management consultant for PwC and Senacor during his bachelor's in business informatics. During his time as a consultant, he was able to expand and deepen his business management and entrepreneurial experience and skill-set, in particular through diverse international and agile IT projects. As CEO of LOLOCO and Chameleon, Malte is responsible for business development, finance and strategy.

Fritz Fried
In Tirana: 17.03. - 02.04.2020
Fritz has a Business Informatics degree from the University of Cologne. During his studies he intensively dealt with methods to develop intelligent algorithms based on mathematical and stochastic models (Advanced Module Statistics). At LOLOCO and Chameleon, Fritz trains and optimises machine learning algorithms by constantly increasing data-set from the LOLOCO product release. He is also responsible for product development, AI, design and marketing.

Philippe Nguyen Xuan
In Tirana: 17.03. - 02.04.2020
Philippe graduated in Business Administration and Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, USA. During this time, he gained first theoretical and practical experience in the field of Data Science as well as in the San Francisco Bay Area start-up environment. Through his experience and international career, he also brings a broad network in the U.S. and Asia with him. At LOLOCO and Chameleon, Philippe is responsible for data analytics, business development and sales.

Petteri Mustalahti

Petteri is partner and COO at Woolman Oy. He is an expert in leading people and building successful growth mindset organisation.

Outi Ihanainen-Rokio

Outi is partner at Woolman Oy. She has PhD in Communications and is also Professor of practice at the University of Helsinki. Outi has vast expertise in the fields of HR and communications.

Jewell is a global executive who has worked in both corporate and start-up environments across the globe (Japan, USA, Germany) for over 20 years. She is a trained molecular biologist turned business strategist. Founder and Chief Innovation & Inclusion Officer of BiTHOUSE GROUP, which is a global business development initiative media group, and venture development network fostering collaboration and innovation culture amongst corporates, innovators, investors, government and community.

Akash Mishra
Past Start-up in Residence (2019)
Akash Mishra is Legal & Operations Lead at Zeus Protocol Inc. Previously an associate with Trilegal, Bangalore - one of the premier law firms in India, Akash specialised in employment and corporate legal advisory for leading startups and large multinational corporations. He advised Beijing-based ByteDance (TikTok), world's most valuable startup at US$76 billion on its critical entry to the Indian market.

Apurv Mishra
Past Start-up in Residence (2019)
Apurv is CEO of Zeus Protocol Inc and leading expert in the space of Artificial Intelligence based in San Francisco. A 29-year-old serial entrepreneur and TED Fellow. His companies have collectively raised over $62 million dollars in the space of healthcare, data platforms and financial technologies. He has personally mentored founders and CEOs raising over $1.8 Billion dollars across Asia & US.
