This publication presents the second session of the Horizon Europe webinar series, organised under the Ecosystem Connectors Berlin – Western Balkans project, which supports stronger links between the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems of Berlin, Tirana and Sarajevo.
The session focused on Pillar 1 – Excellent Science, providing an overview of the European Research Council and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, as well as relevant open calls. It also introduced participants to Pillar 3 – Innovative Europe, including the European Innovation Council and European Innovation Ecosystems, alongside opportunities under the Widening Participation and Cascade Funding schemes.
By combining programme-level insights with practical orientation on funding opportunities, the webinar aimed to support researchers, start-ups, innovation support organisations and ecosystem actors in identifying suitable entry points into Horizon Europe.
The session was delivered with the support of Zabala Innovation Consulting S.A., a leading European consultancy firm specialised in innovation funding.
