Publication of the research study on the “Entrepreneurial and Innovation Ecosystem in Albania”
Are you interested in learning more about the innovation and start-up ecosystem in Albania, the strength and weaknesses? Are you aware of the ecosystem stakeholders, of their capacities and challenges? What is the definition of innovation or innovative start-ups in the context of Albania, the region and Europe. What does it take for them to emerge, grow and access the market? If you’re curious to answer these questions and many more, dive deeper into the research study on the “Entrepreneurial and Innovation Ecosystem in Albania” conducted in January and updated in November 2019. Approximately 50 ecosystem actors, 17 start-ups, more that 10 universities, including cities other than Tirana, and policy makers were interviewed in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem in Albania.
The study was carried out in the framework of the ‘EU for Innovation’ project, funded by the European Union and implemented by GIZ and Swedish Embassy, which seeks to improve the innovation ecosystem and boost start-up creation in Albania.
