In framework of Tirana Digital Nomad Festival, a very motivating and thought-provoking panel addressing the topic of “How can the Diaspora contribute to the Start-up & ICT ecosystem in Albania?” took place on Wednesday, September 14th at Someetings.
The panel moderated by Anila Hyka Smorgrav – Engagement Director, at Orange France, and composed by well-established Albanians in the Diaspora, speakers such as Asetila Köstinger (Austria), Armand Brahaj (Germany), Daniel Kazani (Germany), Landa Grembi (Austria), as well as Flavio Kristo (Albania-Germany) and Gerti Boshnjaku as the Platform Leader of AlbaniaTech, did not only elaborate on the topic, but triggered an interesting discussion with the audience, made of digital nomads and other Albanians living abroad, who were present in the event.
GIZ Albania, through its programmes ProSeed/ EU for Innovation, and “Global Programme for Migration and Diaspora”, was a main supporter of the 1st edition of Tirana Digital Nomads Festival, organized by the Municipality of Tirana and taking place between the 14th and 16th of September.
This event aimed to bring together worldwide IT professionals, entrepreneurs and all tech youth to share, learn and connect through a dynamic experience in the city of Tirana, also the European Youth Capital for 2022.
