What a fantastic event – a day filled with innovation and inspiration alongside incredible women and girls!

We launched the Diaspora Mentoring component under Diaspora4Innovation project with a dynamic event celebrating and empowering female leaders driving change through innovation and entrepreneurship. The event began with insightful remarks from EU4I representatives and a compelling address by Jenni Lundmark from the EU Delegation to Albania, setting a powerful tone for the day.

Our Diaspora Mentor, Serena Leka joined women entrepreneurs, start-up founders, students, and innovators to connect, exchange experiences, and gain valuable insights. She shared her expertise on innovation, mentorship, and career growth, while key stakeholders, serving as co-pilots – Aneida Bajraktari Bicja, Alba Demneri Kruja, Esmerina Hidri, and Sindi Dervishi, enriched the discussion by translating her insights into the Albanian entrepreneurial landscape, drawing from their own journeys and experiences.

In an engaging presentation, the Mentor highlighted the link between education and professional life, stressing the importance of continuous learning and application. She discussed challenges, strategies to overcome them, and approaches to navigating one’s professional journey. Additionally, she emphasized the role of mentorship, exploring different mentorship models, key steps for mentors and mentees to foster successful collaboration, and ways to maximize the impact of mentorship experiences.
