The Growpreneur Demo Day 2025 brought together founders, investors, and ecosystem actors at Library Valentini in Tirana for an evening that celebrated innovation, ambition, and the growing strength of Albania’s startup ecosystem.
The event opened with remarks from key ecosystem representatives and inspiring contributions from speakers across the innovation landscape, setting the tone for a night focused on entrepreneurship, collaboration, and opportunity. A keynote speech and a founder’s story shared personal insights into the journey of building and scaling startups, highlighting both the challenges and the potential of Albania’s emerging innovation scene.
At the heart of the event were the startup pitches. Six ventures: Avenirs, EasyBookAI, MedApp, Me Zemer, n’Arte, and Solinvic, took the stage to present their ideas, demonstrating the diversity, creativity, and ambition of early-stage innovation in Albania. Each pitch reflected a strong commitment to solving real-world challenges and scaling solutions beyond local markets.
The event concluded with a series of recognitions and opportunities that will support the startups’ next steps. All six teams secured participation in Web Summit, while MedApp and Avenirs were awarded participation in Slush Helsinki, further strengthening their international exposure. In addition, selected participants from the Ecosystem Challenge received access to international tech events, supporting their continued growth and learning.
A key highlight of the evening was the engagement of private investors, who expressed confidence in the presented startups and committed to supporting several of them, signaling a positive shift towards a more active and structured investment landscape in Albania.
Through initiatives like Growpreneur, EU4Innovation supports the development of early-stage startups by providing access to mentorship, networks, and international opportunities. Events such as Demo Day not only showcase the progress of participating teams but also contribute to strengthening connections between founders and investors, helping to build a more dynamic and resilient innovation ecosystem in Albania.
