German Ambassador Peter Zingraf visited the Korca Innovation and Technology Hub

On April the 13th, German Ambassador Peter Zingraf, along with a group of Albanian journalists, visited the Korca Innovation and Technology Hub, which has been supported since its launch by GIZ Albania’ s EU for Innovation project, through its ”Regional Ecosystem Development” programme.

Korça’ s Mayor, Mr. Sotiraq Filo, lead the visit by accompanying the group through the fully renovated building of the Hub and shared his vision of turning the city into the centre for innovation and entrepreneurship, in the southeast of Albania.

The journalists got the chance to meet and interview beneficiaries of ProSeed project and winners of the Agrichallenge competition run by Sustainable Rural Development, as well as youngsters, participants of the digital marketing and programming courses, which are offered on regular basis at KorcaICTHub.

Më 13 prill, Ambasadori i Gjermanisë Peter Zingraf, së bashku me një grup gazetarësh nga media të ndryshme shqiptare, vizituan Qendrën e Teknologjisë së Informacionit dhe Komunikimit në Korçë (KorcaICTHub), e cila që prej fillimeve të saj është mbështetur nga projekti EU for Innovation, i GIZ në Shqipëri, përmes programit “Zhvillimi i Ekosistemeve Rajonale”.

Kryetari i Bashkisë së Korçës, z. Sotiraq Filo, shoqëroi grupin e gazetarëve ndërkohë që vizitonin godinën e rinovuar të Qendrës, dhe ndau me ta vizionin e tij për ta kthyer qytetin në zemrën e inovacionit dhe sipërmarrjes, në juglindje të Shqipërisë.

Gazetarët patën mundësinë të takojnë dhe intervistojnë përfitues  nga projekti ProSEED dhe fitues të konkursit Agrichallenge nga SRD, si dhe të rinj e të reja, pjesëmarrës në kurset e marketingut dixhital dhe programimit, të cilat ofrohen rregullisht në KorcaICTHub.
