The three-day professional training brought together representatives from higher education institutions, public agencies, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), Not-for-profit organizations and Horizon Europe’s National Contact Points (NCPs).

70 Participants gained expertise in:
– Identifying the best funding opportunities
– Join the right networks with other EU Institutions
– Independently develop a successful and professional proposal
– Manage programmes from administrative, legal and financial aspects, including IPR implications and reporting.

International experts Aritz Goñi and Daniel Errea from Zabala Innovation guided participants through the Horizon Europe proposal structure and templates, breaking them down into key components and engaging them in hands-on proposal writing exercises. The training also covered grant agreements, consortium management, financial reporting, and IPR frameworks, equipping participants with the skills to secure Horizon Europe funding.

Participants had the opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and brainstorm potential Horizon Europe projects. The training also covered strategic partnership building and budget-drafting exercises.
This hands-on, strategy-driven programme is set to boost Albania’s presence in EU-funded research.
