Last Saturday we were part of the launching of Uplift Albania’s selection bootcamp. Founded with the mission to support the start-up ecosystem in Albania, Kosovo and region, they announced during this first meeting between start-ups, mentors, investors, tech experts, local and regional businesses, 10 winners who will be part of the Uplift acceleration program.
EU for Innovation brought in two mentors for the program: Arjeta Haskaj, founder of Easly who came all the way from Portugal and Sara Usinger, our own Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Enabler.
Arjeta said of the bootcamp: “The energy was amazing and full of passion for technology and innovation! There are so many inspiring projects, that I’m sure will be important for the future development of Albania. It is just the beginning and we have a lot of work ahead!”
It’s always an exciting experience to listen to pitches, share thoughts and spend time with entrepreneurs. We wish the best of luck and success to the 10 winners who started their acceleration journey yesterday with Uplift.
