EU for Innovation representative at the 10th Anniversary Conference “Ideate, Innovate, Inspire, Interact”, organized by UIIN

Invited to represent EU for Innovation’s academia partner in Albania, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alba Kruja, Professor of Management and Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Epoka University, attended the 10th Anniversary Conference Ideate, Innovate, Inspire, Interact, organized by University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) on June 13-15 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

UIIN actively advances the field of university-industry collaboration, conducting large-scale research projects funded by national and international governments, as well as supports the leadership, academics, and professional staff operating at the interface of higher education and industry, aiming at enabling them to enhance collaboration and drive cultural change.

The UIIN conference was a great opportunity to learn about best global practices on developing entrepreneurial and engaged Universities, aiming to bridge the gap between academia and industry, by addressing solutions to societal and economic challenges, through a process build on trust, communication, and commitment among stakeholders.

Organized in different parallel sessions the event included keynote speeches, workshops, case studies on individual or institutional initiatives, research or special sessions bringing together 500+ participants from academia and industry, from 250+ organizations, 100+ speakers and 60+ countries. The conference was all about providing a good mix of science and practice, insights from the minds of renowned leaders, hands-on learning through workshops and recognition, and celebration of successes and knowledge sharing.

As part of its mission to strengthen the innovation ecosystem of Albania, especially in the light of encouraging cooperation between academia and private sector, EU for Innovation has been collaborating with UIIN, offering services to Albanian universities such as webinars, trainings, mentoring, access to the UIIN digital library, etc.

EU for Innovation mundësoi pjesëmarrjen e Prof. Assoc. Dr. Alba Kruja, Profesore e Menaxhimit dhe Dekane e Fakultetit të Ekonomisë dhe Administrimit në Universitetin Epoka, në Konferencën e 10-të me temë “Ideo, Inovo, Frymëzo, Ndërvepro” organizuar nga UIIN (University Industry Innovation Network – Rrjeti Inovator Universitet-Industri) në datat 13-15 qershor, në Amsterdam, Hollandë.

UIIN nxit dhe promovon në mënyrë aktive bashkëpunimin “universitet-industri” duke zhvilluar projekte kërkimore të financuara nga qeveritë dhe institucione ndërkombëtare, si dhe mbështet ‘leadership-in’, akademikët dhe stafin teknik që operojnë në fushat e arsimit të lartë dhe industrisë, duke synuar thellimin e bashkëpunimit dhe duke nxitur ndryshime kulturore.

Konferenca e UIIN ishte një mundësi e shkëlqyer për të mësuar rreth praktikave më të mira globale në zhvillimin e universiteteve sipërmarrëse, duke synuar kapërcimin e hendekut midis akademisë dhe industrisë nëpërmjet zgjidhjeve të adresuara për sfidat shoqërore dhe ekonomike, dhe një procesi të ndërtuar mbi besimin, komunikimin dhe angazhimin mes palëve të interesuara.

E organizuar në sesione të ndryshme paralele, konferenca përfshinte fjalime, seminare, raste studimore mbi iniciativa individuale ose institucionale, kërkime ose sesione speciale që bashkuan mbi 500 pjesëmarrës nga akademia dhe industria, më shumë se 250 organizata, me rreth 100 folës nga më shumë se 60 vende të botës. Konferenca ishte një kombinim i mirë mes shkencës/kërkimit teorik dhe praktikës, mundësoi ndarje njohurish nga mendjet e liderëve të njohur, ofroi informacion mbi të mësuarit praktik përmes seminareve, lejoi kremtimin e sukseseve si dhe shkëmbimin e njohurive në përgjithësi.

Si pjesë e misionit për të forcuar ekosistemin e inovacionit në Shqipëri, veçanërisht nën spektrin e inkurajimit të bashkëpunimit mes akademisë dhe sektorit privat, EU for Innovation ka bashkëpunuar me UIIN duke ofruar shërbime për universitetet shqiptare si webinare, trajnime, mentorime, akses në bibliotekën dixhitale UIIN, etj.
