Ethics and Integrity in Research – Week of Integrity Albania

On December 7, 2020 in framework of Week of Integrity Albania, EU for Innovation and the Albanian National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation (Agjencia Kombëtare e Kërkimit Shkencor dhe Inovacionit) organized a virtual conference regarding integrity in scientific research. The 6 speakers were representatives from higher education institutions, that have endorsed the European Charter for Researchers and a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. This initiative aims to promote the transparency in the recruitment of researchers and in the research process. It also aims to improve the accountability of research institutions.

The goal of the ‘’Week of Integrity’’ is to draw attention on the importance of integrity by promoting ethical behavior not only in business but in the workplace, as well with the governmental bodies, academia and social organizations being active players.

Më 7 Dhjetor 2020, në kuadër të Javës së Integritetit Shqipëri, BE për Inovacionin dhe Agjencia Kombëtare Shqiptare për Kërkimin Shkencor dhe Inovacionin organizuan një konferencë virtuale lidhur me integritetin në kërkimin shkencor. 6 folësit ishin përfaqësues nga institucionet e arsimit të lartë, të cilët kanë miratuar Kartën Evropiane për Studiuesit dhe një Kod të Sjelljes për Rekrutimin e Studiuesve. Kjo iniciativë synon të promovojë transparencën në rekrutimin e studiuesve dhe në procesin e kërkimit. Ai synon gjithashtu të përmirësojë llogaridhënien e institucioneve kërkimore.

Qëllimi i’Javës së Integritetit’ ’është të tërheqë vëmendjen mbi rëndësinë e integritetit duke promovuar sjellje etike jo vetëm në biznes por në vendin e punës, si dhe organet qeveritare, akademi dhe organizatat shoqërore që janë lojtarë aktivë.
