On November 15th we hosted a gathering of Albanian ecosystem stakeholders in Tirana at the GIZ HQ to officially kick off the conversations around the Ecosystem Connectors | Berlin Sarajevo Tirana project. We were honored by the presence of Dr. Iven Schad, Head of German Development Cooperation, German Embassy; Adia Sakiqi, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Federal Republic of Germany and Elvir Becirovic, Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprise.

During this gathering, we presented the project’s goals, timeline and components, and most importantly, gathered the expectations from the participants regarding their involvement in this project. The participants worked in focus groups representing the Albanian Government, Start-ups, Innovation Support Organizations and Universities.
