Balkan FLOSStival 2020

On the first weekend of December, the Balkan FLOSStival 2020 took place. A virtual conference that brought together organizations from the Balkan region, that promote open source software & hardware, open data, open government & cyber security.

The participants of the event were students, professionals in different fields of technology and various civil society actors aiming to bring a change through technology.

The event was initiated by Open Labs Hackerspace, but was joined by one organization from Kosovo, one from Serbia and three from Greece.

EU for Innovation was a supporter of the event and we’re already looking forward to next year’s Balkan FLOSStival.

Fundjavën e parë të dhjetorit u zhvillua Balkan FLOSStival (Free/Libre and Open Source Software Festival). Konferenca virtuale solli bashkë organizatat nga rajoni i Ballkanit, të cilat promovojnë software-t dhe hardware-t open source, open data, open government dhe sigurinë kibernetike.

Pjesëmarresit në event ishin studentë, profesionistë në fusha te ndryshe të teknologjisë dhe aktorë të shoqërisë civile, të cilët synojnë të sjellin një ndryshim përmes teknologjisë.

Eventi u iniciua nga Open Labs Hackerspace por organizimit ju bashkuan edhe një organizatë nga Kosova, një nga Serbia dhe tre nga Greqia.

BE për Inovacionin si mbështetës i aktivitetit, mezi pret Balkan FLOSStival të rradhës vitin që vjen.
