On April 10th, Aspire Entrepreneurship Incubation Programme held its Demo Day event at the National Youth Congress. This event marked the culmination of the program, designed to cultivate the next generation of eco-conscious entrepreneurs in Albania.
The centerpiece of the event was getting to know more about the 12 start-ups that participated in this incubation programme. Start-up representatives had only 3 minutes to pitch their innovative, sustainable business idea, followed by 6 minutes for a Q&A session with a distinguished jury panel. The ideas presented were diverse, and inspiring, each providing an innovative solution for a problem in the Albanian context.
The first-place award went to the ‘Verticarry’ start-up, which designed a personalized and inclusive orthopedic backpack, suitable for ages 6-50. The second place was taken by ‘Gate Albania’ a web and online media platform which presents and updates in real time all the tourist potential. ‘GOOS’ start-up was awarded third place – a platform that combines the promotion of product sales, promotion, gifts, and much more, to save the customer’s time and money.
