Some time ago, another team of students joined our EU for Innovation Connect IT programme.
Jona Shtini, Arlinda Doçi, Ornela Loloçi, Greisa Kalbaj and Kristi Nene, are currently studying Software Engineering and Business Informatics at the Canadian Institute of Technology.
Under the coordination of Professor Blendi Shima, students from the 2nd and 3rd year of Bachelor studies, have joined forces, to put their theoretical knowledge into practice, by developing a native mobile application for both iOS and Android operating systems for the Albanian insurance damage assessment company IGS Assistance.
In a meeting with the company’s representatives, the students explained how they are building the application using React Native & WordPress back-end and the extra features it will entail, such as online mapping and weather forecast.
