Angel Investors Training – Keiretsu Forum

We are thrilled to announce that Keiretsu Forum Southeast Europe (KFSEE) has successfully organized its 2nd Angel Investors Training – a transformative initiative shaping the future of angel investing in Albania and the wider region.

This high-impact program, led by Maria Carolina Romero and Maaike Doyer, two outstanding experts in the field, is designed to empower both aspiring and seasoned investors with the knowledge and skills needed to make strategic, high-impact investment decisions.

In collaboration with the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, Swiss EP, and EU4Innovation this training plays a pivotal role in fostering informed investments and accelerating entrepreneurial growth. Angel investing is becoming an essential asset class for diversification, innovation, and impact, and this initiative ensures that investors are well-prepared to navigate this dynamic landscape.

Through hands-on learning and expert mentorship, participants gain the tools to identify and support high-potential startups, driving the expansion of a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. At KFSEE, we take pride in our innovative approach and long-term commitment to strengthening the investment landscape. By working alongside key stakeholders, we are not only reinforcing Albania’s investor community but also fueling regional growth, innovation, and long-term economic success.

The future of angel investing in Southeast Europe is bright – and we are excited to be at the forefront of this journey.

One of the highlights of our Angel Investors Training was an engaging and dynamic “Ask Me Anything” fireside chat moderated by our CEO, Ravik Mima. We were honored to be joined by our dear friend and collaborator, Julien Coustaury, Founding Partner at Fil Rouge Capital – the only venture capital fund to have invested in Albanian startups to date.

Julien shared his personal approach to investing, offering practical, no-nonsense advice. When asked what he would do with €10,000, his response was clear: join a strong network like Keiretsu Forum Southeast Europe and invest in five different companies. His message resonated with everyone in the room – successful investing is about surrounding yourself with the right people and making smart, diversified choices.

The impact was immediate. Inspired by Julien’s insights, several investors expressed interest in joining our current investment rounds. The energy in the room was electric, and we are excited to see how these new connections and strategies will shape the future of our investment community.

Through hands-on learning and expert mentorship, participants gained the tools to identify and support high-potential startups, driving the expansion of a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. At KFSEE, we take pride in our innovative approach and long-term commitment to strengthening the investment landscape. By working alongside key stakeholders, we are not only reinforcing Albania’s investor community but also fueling regional growth, innovation, and long-term economic success.
